After a short stay in the recovery ward Ronja is moved back to her room. Since the stomach needs to be completely empty whilst undergoing surgery she hasn't hade anything to eat ore drink since the yesterday evening. She feels slightly unwell but after having an ice lolly she feels better. Her body needed both the sugar and the liquid. In the evening Ronja can return home. She will need to hop on crutches for about a week until her knee has healed and the pain is all gone. “It was slightly unpleasant to wake up after the operation since at first I did not understand where I was. But it feels good to have had the knee operated on even if it is tender just at present. The first thing I shall do when it has healed is to bathe!”
