Stethoscope

-00:00

A stethoscope is almost like headphones. This is used to listen to the various sounds your body makes. We can use a stethoscope to listen to the air in your lungs as you breathe, and when the little doors between the various chambers of your heart open and close. If we use a stethoscope to listen to the area just above your belly button, we can hear sounds from your tummy and intestines. It’s a good idea to sit or lie completely still, stay quiet, and take big, deep breaths while someone is listening to your insides with a stethoscope.
