When you have the plastic tube inserted in your blood vessel, it’s important to make sure it stays in place. That’s why we usually tape it down using a special kind of plaster. We sometimes put a bandage over the plaster as well, so you don’t need to worry about anything coming loose – you can move around and play more or less normally.
